Attorney Melissa L. Schwartz

In her 22nd year of practice, Attorney Melissa L. Schwartz focuses her practice on serious personal injury cases at Scherline & Associates in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Atty. Schwartz has been instrumental in the handling of major automobile cases and catastrophic injury claims.  Before she joined the firm, Atty. Schwartz practiced civil litigation with Miller & Barkan in Hackensack, NJ and with Kornreich & Harkov in Freehold, NJ.  She also practiced personal injury law with Gruhin & Gruhin in Belleville, NJ and medical malpractice defense with Poor & Associates.  A member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, Atty. Schwartz is admitted to the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the United States District Courts for Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  She graduated with her business degree from Muhlenberg College in 1981 and then received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1984.  Atty. Schwartz regularly helps out as a volunteer at the local soup kitchen for Lehigh County Catholic charities.  The mother of two supports her children in their Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.  Specifically, Melissa Schwartz is on the speakers panel for Learning for Life as part of the Minsi Trail Boy Scouts.  Atty. Schwartz has also lectured extensively throughout the Lehigh Valley as part of the Boy Scouts Career Awareness Program.
