| Attorney Norman E. Blatt
Attorney Norman E. Blatt, Jr.’s practice includes many diverse areas of law including personal injury, criminal law, wills and estates, and real estate. His practice encompasses the legal needs of most individuals and businesses. Before he joined Scherline & Associates, Atty. Blatt practiced with a renowned plaintiff’s personal injury firm which specialized in medical malpractice and serious injury claims. After receiving his undergraduate political science degree from Elizabethtown College in 1976, Atty. Blatt went on to receive his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1981 where he was an editor of the Law Review. In December of 1981 Atty. Blatt was admitted to the California Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar in May of 1982, and the New Jersey Bar in December of 1982. He is now a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lehigh County Bar Association. Atty. Blatt is admitted to the State Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California, and the federal courts of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Atty. Blatt is a member of many volunteer organizations including the Fountain Hill Exchange Club (Past District Director of the Mid-Atlantic Division), Fountain Hill Borough Council (Vice President), Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (Appointed Position). In addition, Atty. Blatt is a court appointed arbitrator by the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County and has received a 10-year participation award from the Pennsylvania State Education Association. A father of two, Atty. Blatt’s hobbies include puzzles, golf, and coin collecting.
